I have been a photography enthusiast since high school. Since I was in high school, I loved watching BBC documentaries, and had a wishful thinking, maybe someday I can shoot for BBC.
Finally last year the dream came true. I had a chance to shoot for BBC Storyworks. It was an honor and pleasure working with @petalstomp and the whole of @bbcstoryworks for this Vital Strategies project. We at @anatmanpictures learned so much about safety, risk assessment for the crew and the subjects, also caring for the long-term impacts on the subjects.
Thank you so much to all the subjects that are willing to participate in this project. We dedicate this film to the well-being of everyone and all living with beings around the Marunda area.
It was an eye-opening experience to witness the impact of extreme air pollution on the people around there. I hope this film will bring some impact on Indonesia’s collaborative work together in solving this problem across the nation.
