Have you ever romantically fall in love? Feeling the warm electric pulse going from your heart to your whole back, the whole body, to the tip of your fingers?
I felt it to the land of Bumi Ayu on a train ride to Jogja, last year I think. I couldn’t believe I could fall in love romantically with the trees, the rice fields, the leaves and the sky.
Have you ever feel broken-hearted? Feeling the intense pain from your heart flowing outward, pressing your chest, your neck, your whole body, making you cry intensely?
I felt it today also. I saw a defrosted land, then some trees behind it. I felt their presence, their unspoken words.
I understand morally, conceptually and intellectually how wrong it is to exploit the forest. But to feel them and be totally broken-hearted is intense.
As if they keep telling me that soon, they will be fallen also.
There is a sense of helplessness. There is a sense of guilt. It is a real pain and suffering for them, for us, for everyone, for all beings.
I just walked in the front and cried by myself. Not wanting to be seen.
Arriving alone by the riverside, I understand that everything will be torn in the river deep.
Thanks for the impromptu videos @lidwinaudrey
