Placing your hand on your heart like this is called heart-opening meditation. Monks and yogis use it to contain overflowing love and grief they feel. Love and grief could happen simultaneously. All the electricity and aching feelings can be felt at the exact moment in time.
Right after stepping out of the car and see the river and the small patch of leftover forest, I fell in love, exactly the same feelings when I fall in love with a woman. Same strong electricity, same aching in my heart, all the overflowing sensations from the heart to the whole body. I felt this first time in Bumi Ayu, now in Sepaku it is even more intense.
I fell in love romantically, deeply with this small patch of land. Spiritual Eros they said. Refined Eros in your heart. Warm. Butterfly in the stomach. Teary eyes.
Never imagined it can be so intense and deep to be in love with the river and the trees. Feeling the warmth of the wind holding my body, the water splashed kissing my lips. It is very romantic.
This is not a poetic gesture, it is pure bodily sensations, chemical reactions happening inside the body.
Meditation and stillness helps us to be in love with everything. Literally everything.
I am so grateful to witness this with @lidwinaudrey @_rndynsysh @mardyyanadewi 🤎🤎
